How Corbor came to be

Hi, I’m Hayley, founder of Corbar.

After years working as Head of FP&A and Finance Business Partner in a large contract catering company, I saw firsthand the difference it makes when business owners have regular, meaningful financial support.

Not just reports, but real conversations. Not just deadlines, but direction.

I started Corbar to give growing businesses exactly that, without the corporate red tape or high cost of an in-house finance department.

But I didn't want to be the kind of firm you never see or hear from.

I like to be right there alongside you, helping build a solid financial foundation so you can make informed decisions to grow and thrive. 

So Corbar operates like an in-house finance team, with packages that evolve with your business and support that’s as personal as it is professional.

Hayley - Founder

Qualified accountant, business strategist, and big believer in doing business differently. I live off-grid just outside Buxton, love musicals and reading, and start most mornings with strong coffee and a few loyal dogs at my feet.

Michelle - Bookkeeper

I’m currently studying for my AAT and love helping clients feel more confident and in control of their finances. I’m a mum of two, and I always have the next family holiday booked - and possibly already planned to the last detail. I love a coffee, but I’m strangely unaffected by caffeine. I can drink a coffee before bed and still sleep like a log!

Paul - Accounts Senior

After 20+ years in London as an investment banker, I returned to Buxton to retrain as an accountant. Now I help small businesses make sound financial decisions, while enjoying more time with my wife, our two boys, and some long walks in the fresh Peak District air.
